Infectious uveitis is easier to treat because there is a clear pathogen to target; tuberculosis-related, syphilis-related, viral or parasitic uveitis often improve or cure with targeted treatment. Autoimmune types are not so easy to eradicate, but biologics can significantly reduce relapses. Studies show infectious cure rates can reach 70%, while non-infectious only 10–20%. Accept realistic expectations and cooperate with treatment, and many people can still live a relatively normal life.
